I am loving this fringe trend and whole heartedly jumping on board! This bag from Zara was perfect for walking around the city. It holds all the essentials and can be used as either a shoulder or cross body bag. I picked it up one day because I was sick of carry my typical structured bag and wanted something more flexible and comfortable for just touring around.
The day I decided to wear this amazing maxi dress from Anthropologie it rained all morning and then was quite cold in the evening. Even though it was a full 30 degrees warmer than Boston it always feels colder in the city as the wind whips down the city streets and little sun reaches between tall buildings. To help combat the cold I was so happy to find I had packed an incredibly warm sweater from Banana Republic. Unfortunately it is no longer sold – it was part of their winter sale – but there is a great cross-body sleeveless black turtleneck currently at Banana. I am definitely keeping it on my lust list.
Style lesson from the trip: Don’t be afraid to mix and match pieces from different seasons and different colors.
I believe you don’t have to give up style to dress sustainably, dogs make everything better, travel is the best therapy, global living wage is achievable, flower gardens are essential, and without a healthy planet none of these things would be possible.
